Hi Kerrie, you know this is the kind of blog entry we were looking for in our latest contest on Houseblogs.net. I hope you don't mind if I point out that you could tweak your entry and submit it to the contest. Details are here: http://www.houseblogs.net/community/comments.php?DiscussionID=1134
I have remodled many properties and I have found that fiberglass seam tape was easy to use, but would offten crack. I now use paper sheetrock tape on my jobs and have not had any problem thus far. I have been doing this for over 10 years and was dumbfounded when I started seeing small cracks at the seam areas. fiberglass tape has been the problem. Thank you for all your comments they have been helpful. Please take my advice and listen to a pro. USE PAPER SEAM TAPE ON ALL SEAMS.
