Shoe rack and other storage

This hardly fits into the category of renovation, but these are a couple of storage projects I've done to make our lives easier or at least less messy.

The corner shelves are at the top of the stairs that go to the basement.

The shoe rack is near the front door. These are our "take Annie for a walk" shoes. I found the shoe rack plan in a recent Family Handyman magazine. It was easy to make and works great for keeping our shoes organized.
